No additional drivers should be needed – so don’t install them, as they typically interfere with the proper working of the MTP drivers! Since Windows XP is “old”, XP does not come with the proper MTP drivers, for this we need to first install the latest Windows Media Player, which for Windows XP is version 11 ( get it here for free).
